This was a fun piece. Wanted to capture the amazing reflection of the trees and mountains in the water while using many bright colors. The tree that is above water is full of life and colors and the tree that appears to be the reflection has a double appearance. One showing the reflection of the tree and second shows that it could be the roots to the tree above. Vincent Van Gogh has been a huge inspiration and influence to me and I love incorporating his thick brush strokes with my paintings.
